Privacy

This site is a measurement tool. We collect the minimum needed to publish aggregate WebGPU statistics, and we do not want to know who you are.

No cookies, no tracking storage

No cookies, no localStorage, no third-party analytics, no advertising or fingerprinting scripts. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to under it: the capability probe runs to render the report you came to this site to see, and that is the only thing it is used for at page level.

What we store

IP addresses

Raw IP addresses are processed transiently and never stored. Stored forms are salted hashes of truncated network prefixes (a /24 for IPv4, a /48 for IPv6), used for deduplication, abuse limits, and integrity auditing. The salt rotates monthly. We treat these pseudonymous values as personal data and handle them under legitimate interest: running an abuse-resistant public statistics service with the least data that works.

User agent strings

Full user-agent strings inside stored raw reports are redacted after 90 days; only normalized browser/OS families remain long-term.

Your report

Submissions are anonymous and aggregated; published statistics never include individual reports. If you prefer not to submit at all, append ?nosubmit to the URL - the page still shows your local report.
